Trim Levels
We carry four trims of the Nissan Pathfinder. The S is the base trim and will appeal to some drivers because of its competitive price. It's pretty impressive because it has push-button start, a large touchscreen, and smartphone connectivity. As the next trim in the lineup, the SV takes things a bit further as it relates to sophistication and convenience. It's complete with heated outside mirrors, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and remote engine start. The SL trim is quite refined. It has features such as leather seats, a heated steering wheel, and integrated navigation. Finally, there's the Platinum trim. This is our nicest Pathfinder, and it comes with semi-aniline leather seats with quilted inserts, captain's chairs in the second row, heated and cooled front seats, and a Bose premium audio system.
Performance
Of course, what's under the hood is just as important as the other features of an SUV. Fortunately, the Nissan Pathfinder has what it takes to handle rugged terrain. It runs on a 3.5-liter V6 that can deliver 284 horsepower. Nissan has matched this engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. If you think you might run into slippery roads on occasion, we'd recommend getting all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive comes with several drive modes so that you can optimize performance in specific conditions. For example, there's a Sand mode and a Mud/Rut mode that can be used when you're having some epic adventures off the beaten path. If you don't feel that all-wheel drive is necessary, your new Pathfinder would be equipped with front-wheel drive.
Interior Design
Many of our local customers want to have a lot of cabin space in their vehicles. This gives them freedom to drive family and/or friends around town, and they'll still have room for their gear and maybe their four-legged friends. As we mentioned above, the Pathfinder is a three-row SUV. In the second row, the default option is to have a bench seat, but you can get captain's chairs if you want to give the cabin a more open feel. Depending on your configuration, you'd either have room for seven or eight total passengers. Small storage components have been placed throughout the seating areas for convenience. As you'd expect from an SUV, it's really easy to lower the rear seats down in this Nissan. Doing so will give you plenty of storage space for larger items.
