Nissan keeps things simple by offering a single powertrain for the new Titan. The 5.6-liter V8 motor puts out 400 horsepower and 423 pound-feet of torque, which is enough power to tow over 9,000 pounds.

The Titan's high comfort level starts from the bottom up. It has a double-wishbone independent suspension to provide a smooth ride. A solid axle connects to a milt-LEAF rear suspension in the standard setup. You also can grab the off-road package with Bilstein shocks if you mean to take your adventures into the wild.

Nissan built a robust braking system for the Titan, too. Using a four-wheel ABS, the Titan electronically applies braking power to provide a smooth experience. All the brakes are over 13 inches in diameter to maximize stopping power. A trailer sway control system is available, too. Every Titan comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear- and four-wheel-drive options are both available, too.

Interior

Nissan's design language is a bit softer than other manufacturers now favor. If you're looking for a truck that feels more like a traditional pickup and less like a spaceship, you will love the new Titan. Drivers may choose from cloth and leather upholstery. The company emphasizes stitching quality to give the interior a sense of comfort and style. Brown, beige and black interior color options are available, and Nissan also offers distinctive black cloth for the off-road-oriented PRO-4X trim.

Roominess is the name of the game in the Titan's cab. You can choose between a five-seater with a back bench or a four-seater with proper rear seats. Whether you opt for the Super or Crew Cab, you will be amazed by the legroom.
